90% of all buyers first go online when looking at Real Estate. Websites like Zillow and Realtor are just a few of the portals you can use. Check to see if the city of your choice has an MLS. This is typically the most accurate and up-to-date information you can find. HAR.com is the Houston and surrounding area MLS. As your full-time agent, I have access to all listings in the area and market knowledge that can help you narrow your search and show you any home on the market. Take a Drive.
Now that you have an idea of where you want to start, get to know the neighborhoods, complexes, or subdivisions which interest you. Drive around and get a feel for what it would be like to own a property in the area. Start getting a sense of the properties available in those areas. Visit during all times of the day, night and weekends. Check the traffic patterns and get a feel for the neighborhood when you will be home.
Narrow Your Search.
Select a few properties that interest you the most and I can make appointments to visit them. Determine the things that are most important to you and share with your Realtor. They can narrow your search on a number of different items such as schools, traffic routes, particular neighborhoods or amenities.
Time to Buy.
Once you have picked out the property you want to purchase, I can help you make an offer that the seller will accept. As your agent, I will provide a current Competitive Market Analysis, investigate the potential costs and expenses associated with the new property and inquire on your behalf for things such as flood areas, crime statistics, deed restrictions or other items that may be important to you. I can also help you draft your offer in a way that gives you the advantage over another offer.
